Twiddlin' my thumbs
My son is out for the night, and my daughter moved out. Hubby isn't home yet, so here I sit twiddlin' my thumbs. I ran downtown and got all my last minute stuff for Christmas, cleaned up the mess the pups made while I was gone, and am BORED silly. LOL
I am enjoying the peace but need something to keep my mind busy!

I always enjoy my time alone and works all done. Take a breather, surf the net..go to bed early...I'm never bored alone.

I'm a bit apprehensive tonight. Hubby was supposed to have been home hours ago and I have yet to see or hear from him. Last I heard he was in Indiana headed this way. I'm sure he's fine, but it's easy to let your imagination get the better of you when you're waiting for someone this long.
He has to leave again on Monday, so it's going to be a very short holiday visit for us.

Everything is probably just fine. With so many on the roads traveling to see loved ones, traffic can be a bit congested and slower. Be patient and get a good book to read....he'll be home before you know it. Sure wish you had longer together to enjoy the holiday.

Did hubby make it in OK last night? I keep reading about snow and stuff and wondered if he went thru lots of it and maybe that made him later than normal. Anyway, you had some time to yourself to do some things in peace and that's nice. It would be nice if he could be home a little longer, but since he can't, I'd make sure this is quality time spent together.
Merry Christmas, Tink. You've been thru a lot and I hope Christmas is wonderful for you. I wish you a better year in 2007 |

Thanks friends, Greg got home around midnight. He'd run into traffic and had to go to the terminal before coming home.
