New Years eve switcheroo

Hubby ended up having to work Thanksgiving AND Christmas Day, being home for only a few hours on each day. So this week he got ornery and stood his ground and insisted on having New Years Eve off. Amazingly, they gave it to him!

He called and is on his way home, and won't have to leave again til Tuesday morning. He said he wants to spend New Years with me for a change. LOL

It's funny, but things are better between us after I laid the law down to the kids and him. I think he was more tired of the way things had been than he realized.

I whine enough about things here, so just wanted to share some GOOD news!

That's great Tink! It's nice to see something positive come out of what you've been going through. I hope that you and your hubby have a great New Year's Eve together.

Oh Tink that is wonderfu news!!! You're probably right, the turmoil was getting to him too, but maybe he just didn't know what to do about it. You stepped up and did what needed to be done. Yay for you!!!!!

I hope you two have a wonderful New Year's Eve and and I hope that 2007 will be your best year ever!!
