So torn
We hit 44 with bright sun today. There was water sitting in puddles from melting snow and ice. It was so nice!
When I got home I brought Moses in so he can dry off before his hair freezes since he got wet and it's bound to get colder again later tonight. I feel so bad having to keep him outside so much, but it's either that or have a house that smells like a kennel. I did get him to go out and relieve himself earlier, after he'd eaten; so I hope if I keep working on him, eventually he will be able to be a house dog again. I hate the idea of putting him back outside! He's so big that when he "goes" it's a major deal... not like we can get by using puppy pads or newspaper.

Aww... I know how badly you wanted another dog. I expect that after Austi it will be hard to find what you want. I wish that things were going easier for you. Maybe after spending sometime outside he will get the idea! I can certianly understand not wanting to deal with peeing and pooping in the house. It isn't like he is a small dog and it is easy to clean up. I hope things get better soon.

Sorry you have to deal with this during the winter months. It's so much easier in the summer and it seems like you don't hardly have to train them at all, they just kind of get it on their own. Spring is coming.........
