Similar question...
This is similar to highlans question. Why, when it's obvious something needs done...doesn't really matter what it is....can't men just go ahead and do it instead of waiting to be asked or told to?
AN EXAMPLE: When I worked in a factory, we were not suppose to lean pallet boards on their side, they were to lie flat and there was not suppose to be anything like tape or paper on the floor due to forktrucks. When a female would walk by any of those incidents she would pick up the paper or tape and lie the pallet board down. When a man walked by, he just kept walking like he didn't see it. That's just an example outside the home....the list would be way too long to list about things AT home. Thank you in advance for your insight on this subject.

Sometimes men just need to be told what to do. If it's not explcitly part of their job, or their job responsibilities, they may not know any better. Men tend to be messy and they may not see the things that a typical woman sees.
Men may not prioritize taking the tape or paper off the floor as important and instead focus on their current task at hand. |

I'm really not sure I like your answer "MAN". Ha ha I do know that men and women see things so differently...but some times it just gets old for a wife to tell her husband what needs done when he has eyes.
Another example....when, for instance, a man throws something in the trash and it falls back out....doesn't that tell him that it needs emptied???? I have found out that if you give a man a list....98% of it will get done..maybe not in the time frame one would like, but eventually it will get done. I guess that's why they're called 'honey do' lists.....LOL

Sometimes men just need do just need to be told what to do. A list is a good way for a man to see what needs to be done, men may see a checklist or list of To-Do's as a challenge, which they may process better than a few spoken reminders.
You could also write down a due date or a timeline for the To-Do list, as in: Monday: Take out garbage Wednesday: Sweep driveway April 5, 2007 - Remember our 22nd anniversary, take wife out to dinner and buy her roses |
