Ok... for the past 2 weeks i have been drinking liters and liters of water everyday, and i still see no change Im not at all snacking, the only things i drink is LOTS of water, and a few cups of coffee, i never use sugar in my coffee or sweetners.
My son says its because there is no weight to be lost (Bless hes heart) how sweet is he!
My husband says, i need to workout. Now ive suggested we both go for a good 30 minute walk everynight, the weather is nice enough, but he doesnt want to, while he also needs to lose weight!! * UGHHHHHH MEN*

I wish you were closer Mandy...I'd walk with you. I love walking, just not on a treadmill. My son walks with me and that helps. Today and tomorrow it's suppose to be rainy and crappy, so far, today is following that forecast. Guess I'll walk when it quits raining. It will help Mandy if when you go shopping, park as far away from the door as possible. You won't believe all the stuff you're able to see walking to the store...pretty interesting people out there...LOL

Ahhhh Janet, i wish i lived closer too, we would have a ball
Can you believe this guy? He is now wanting to buy bikes for each of us, and go riding, he said he will put a basket on mine for the girls, and a biketrailer on hes for our lab LOL... can you see this happening? Hahaha... i cant, not in my wildest dreams!!
I told him, ok, but he has to buy a dozen tires to take along with him on the rides, because he could never miss a nail if it came crawling towards him LOL

You are so funny, Mandy. We all have bikes here, but hardly every ride them. I don't mind a nice ride, but to get back home, it's all up hill. Darn near kills me. I'd rather walk it...LOL

I hear ya LOL... i hate riding uphill!! Good thing about this place, its all sooooooooooo flat LOL - riding over a bridge ahhhhh no that wont happen, uhm... i'll probably dump the bike in the water and walk the rest of the way LOL

I actually knew a guy that did dump hes bike in the canal while riding uphill over the bridge, there was a lot of wind, he was having a bad day, and was so fedup, he threw hes bike over the railing LOL

Hi Ladies, I would like to join this thread.

I started dieting with the group on YT that did the lemonade diet. It lasted 2 weeks for me, then I got sick. But I worked really hard to chnge my eating habits and was doing really well until I had surgery on my elbow 4 weeks ago. I had lost 24 lbs. My goal is 50 lbs, by my birthday in July.

If I hit my goal, I promissed myself I would get a boob job. I have been very heavy chested since I was 11.

Since, my arm is finally getting better, I need to get back with the program. I have 25 lbs to go and 3 months to do it.

I would appreciate any help I can get.

Here is the link. It is a cleanse, that helps to rid your body of toxins. Unfournately, I got a kidney infection while doing it.

But you use herbal tea to get things moving in the morning, and you drink 8-10 glasses of lemonade(fresh), cayenne(sp) pepper and grade b maple syrup. It really is tasty if you like lemonaide.

Here is a link with a pdf about it.

I wonder if anyone else on here has tried it, and if it really works?

I don't see how that lemondade diet could be healthy for you at all. I would think if you wanted a good cleanse drinking plenty of water could do the trick. I've been trying to follow my own type of diet.

I've just been following the WW idea of portion control. I've been eating whatever I want but in the correct portions. I also do no snacking after 7:00 PM and I cut out all pop, and white stuff. I've lost 20 lbs and I'm kind of stuck right now and have been for awhile. I haven't been exercising and I think that has a lot to do with it. Once I'm able to get out and do more I'm sure it will come off again. I've just told everyone that I'm not in any hurry this time.....at all!! All the other diets I have tried in my lifetime worked great, but the lbs came back just as soon as I quit the diet. Not going to happen this time.

I'm exactly in the same boat. I work for a CPA firm and since the final week of tax season I totally fell off the wagon. I was doing so good before then, 26 lbs off. This morning is my weigh-in; I haven't gained any weight, but sure haven't lost any either.

I normally don't stay for the meeting at Weight Watchers, but I'm going to today. I'm definately going to finish losing this weight, so I can participate in my children's summer activities! I took the entire summer off, and I'm not going to ruin that by sitting out of the pool this year again. I might not get in till July, but I'm going to make it, lol. Sorry, giving myself a pep-talk.

Good luck, Gina!

I'm so sorry you got sick.

I think Weight Watchers is (lol, was) really working for me. They use this point system based on calories, fat content, and fiber. I signed up for the cheapest monthly program and it includes their online etools, so it's a cinch to enter info, and you get to record your diet and activities on the online journal. (www.weightwatchers.com). I've lost 26, but still have 45 more to go. It's great that you're halfway there, and I know you'll be able to do it by July. If we were on the same side of town; I'd suggest we start meeting for walks.

Good luck, and I know you can do it!
