omg guys i just joined in how long will this tourure of yt being down go on ofr im going crazy ahhhhhh i needed some help tonight with my yorkie shes six months and hasnt had her first heat yet wat are signs i should look for how long does it lst and where can i get doggy pads omg help plz!!!

i'm not a breeder and my little one hasn't went into heat yet but i think the vulva swells a lot and if you use a cotton ball and wipe her you might be able to see if she is bleeding

We miss YT toooooooooooooo!! The first sign of heat is blood...sometimes its very little to none and sometimes it can be quite messy..with Darla it wasnt too bad and I didnt notice too much blood...with others they need to wear diapers. Heat can last for three weeks...did that help at all??

you can get a diaper at petsmart they have pads that go in them you can get them there to. don't worry because i know that some little yorkies don't go into heat till like 9 -14 months

That is true...Darla didnt go into heat until she was 11 months old...
