Attn: Dog lovers, prayers needed

I know I haven't been around much, but...this story breaks my heart and I wanted to share it. I know that their are a lot of dog lovers on this site...and I believe a lot of you have a soft spot for yorkies

There is a yorkie in Colorado who is being turned over to rescue. He's a year old and has a broken leg that has not been set.

http://yorkierescuecolorado.com/home.html

Please see this website for his story.

Note: Although I am a committed supporter of rescue, I am not affiliated with this rescue in anyway.

Thanks for the two minutes...please send a prayer his way.

OmG this is heartbreaking sending this little guy tons of prayers, i certainly do hope they can get enough money together to help this little chap!
I wonder if the vet wont be able to help, surely they not out to only make a buck just thinking of it, makes me want to cry.
Maybe they can agree on some sort of payment plan, i sure hope so.

There's a thread for him on YT too. Such a sad situation!

I'm sure admin wouldn't mind, since both sites are run by the same people.

I really hope this little guy gets taken care of...

That is just terrible. How did he get 'tangled' in his leash to break two bones? AND why would it cost that much to have it set. Something doesn't seem quite right to me. I hate being too cautious here at this time of year, but I have this feeling!

This time around, I don't have any doubts. If you go read the thread, there is an interesting update And, they have never asked for donations. I might have brought up that "ugly" word, along with a few others...

Thanks for the link and clearing that up Jlynn. I really don't like it when I wonder to trust, ya know. It all just sounded a little unbelievable. Sure wish I had extra funds to send to help, but with hubby just back to work recently from back surgery we just don't have the extra right now. I'll send prayers though for the little guy.

Reading this thread brought tears to my eyes to. How sad, I will keep this poor little yorkie in my prayers and hope they come up with the money. I know first hand how expensive surgery can be. For Gucci had liver shunt operation over a year ago and it cost me a lot of money. It was well worth every penny, for knock on wood she is doing great.

My heart goes out to this family.

Sure. You've gotta be careful, so many scammers. We certainly see our share on YT. I wouldn't have posted here if I thought that was the case. I think it's amazing that the rescue has decided to get the pup back to his family somehow.

Wow, that brought tears to my eyes. I really REALLY hope Reese gets all of the medical care he needs and is able to return home soon. Poor little guy. I'm just heartbroken for him and his family...

Maybe if all of us here and on YT say prayers for this little guy everything will be okay. We all know how great YT prayers are, let show the power of 4WT prayers too.
