UUGGHH!!! Snow!!

We are suppose to get up to four inches of snow between 11:00 this evening and 11:00 tomorrow morning. I must say this does not make me happy! I loved looking at the pictures some have posted of their snow, but I really wanted you to keep it with you..lol I don't want any.

Since the timing isn't really good (overnight) we may have a 2 hour delay tomorrow on getting the kids to school. Oh well, I'm going to 'kind of' look forward to it...it will be the first snow the dogs have ever seen. I've never let them out in the winter before, but since I have the fence now, I'm ready to see how they react.

Okay, I'm ready....let it snow, let it snow let it snow!!!

but please be gone by the weekend...I need to go shopping.....

We never get much snow here, but when we do, and the few hours it lasts, we try to enjoy it, but it gets so darn cold

I wouldn't be happy with the snow if I drove a school bus either. I doubt if it will last long so hopefully, it will be gone by the weekend so you can shop!

I hope the roads stay decent for you Janet!

We too are supposed to get 4" to 6" of snow today. It's just started, so I'm hoping it won't amount to that much.
It's 23 degrees, so is prime for a good amount to fall... ugggggggg
I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere. I certainly wouldn't want to drive a bus on it!

Keep safe!

All this snow everywhere....And now it will on your yard Janet. Oh so pretty pretty pretty! But do be careful if you head out tomorrow.

Gosh, here in our area there could be just a threat of bad weather and they close the schools. I've never seen the likes?

We are having mid 50 & 60 temps here. I doubt we will see any snow.

Don't forget the pics! Also....don't forget to go outside and make a snowman. ha haaaa.

It has to snow 8" or more here for school to be interrupted. Ice of course will do it too. What I really hate is that when it gets below zero they still have school. If a bus should break down those kids are at risk! They don't go out for recess on those days, but they do still go to school.

Oh dear!

I'd hate to be the school bus driver on snowy roads with rowdy kids! Be careful, and take many, many deep breaths. And....never say what really on your mind to a kid who is being a real pain in the a**!

The reason they let school out when it begins to snow where Sheryl lives, is because of all the hills and curvy roads. All it takes is a little bit of something slick and the roads turn really dangerous. I have cousins that live in her area and they would be out of school for weeks sometimes. I remember one year they went to school all through June to make up for what they'd missed.

Tink and Janet, Jaci said for you to send the snow here! She would love it! (And anything that would keep her out of school!!!!)

That's exactly it Diana - The kids are happy when they get snow breaks but then whine when they have to make up those days.

Call it "red neck" entertainment but when it snows, Robert and I sit out on our deck and watch people attempt to make it (sometimes even try to go down) on our snow covered dirt road. It's a pretty steep hill and just not anything to give traction. Year after year we are amused by such things, LOL. The best probably so far was a school bus (sorry Janet) one year and our UPS driver the next.

Gosh, now i wish it would snow. I havent been entertained for quite sometime.

We have that kind of hills and curvy roads too, but we also have the big equipment to deal with it. According to dh, that's what he sees as the biggest difference between our area and more southern states. We KNOW we're going to need it every year so have to have it.
