Progress pics of my new tile kitchen floor

I am totally excited. We have had this tile in our garage for a year now waiting patiently for it to be put down. Well...today was the day. My father in law and brother in law were here and we decided to put them to work LOL (I'm sure my FIL will think twice about driving 12 hours to visit us next time LOL)

anyway....here are the progress pics:
1st...this is when they first started laying the tile.

2nd and 3rd....this is after it is all laid. We just have to do the grout and put down the shoe moulding and we will be all finished!! hopefully tomorrow will be the final day of work

I really wanted the diamond pattern...especially since that is what we have in the bathroom that is in my bedroom. my FIL insisted he didn't know how to do the diamond patterns...but it looks like he figured it out

your Hubby sounds like mine, my baseboards are still in the garage, its been 3 years there probably all dry rotted
He's always doing side jobs for everyone else, but his own house... we'll hate to tell him i already set up Sunday with his friend to put my front door in..

LOL hey...when you want something done..sometimes you just have to take the bull by the horns and ask hubby's friends to do it LOL

I been working my butt off when Mike's home with Micah, i been doing yard work, still sore from trimming the bushes, my babysitter is taking Micah for a walk Saturday, so i can help my friend from work, he's coming over to help pull all the dead bushes out from infront of the house.. can't wait, the yard is finally looking nice after 3 years....(Mike just cuts the grass!!)
At least i got him to paint the inside of the house, still the bathroom floor needs done, and we need new Kitchen cabnets that will be this years tax refund..
Doing a little at a time, paying cash for everything. not getting into debt again..
The way i look at things lately is so different, use to be a clean freak, but not anymore, i'm useing my mothers motto, "people come over my house to see Me, not my house." it's summertime, i was waiting all winter for this weather, and after work, i'm going outside with my son and enjoying it....
