Do you notice????

Okay, we've been asked in another thread "if we could, of the people who have passed, would we want to see the most. SSSOOOO:

Have you notice if they do or send anything to let you know they are near?

I know without a doubt that my father sends butterflies around me. The land on me, hover around me and it makes my heart smile.

I dream about my husband. It's always when I'm stressed out or worried about something and in the dreams, he always calms me down and tells me he loves me and that I'll be OK. Each time, he tells me he has to go again and kisses me bye. When I wake up I can still feel his kiss.

janet and khardy 57- my hubby's baby brother died in a car accident right before my hubby got deployed for iraq. he had just turned 22. my mil says that he sends her pretty yellow butterflies in her yard every day no matter what time of the year because when he was little he used to love to sit in the back yard and watch the yellow butterflies with his mom...i believe that our loved ones will always send us signs of love even if they are in a place where we can't be with them.

I don't ever "see" things around me to remind me of my Grandmother. But...I see, feel, and hear things in my mind, if that makes any sense. My Mom always told me that my Grandma had a special gift of "knowing things" sorta say before they actually happened. At times, I do the same. So, I look at this as another thread in the "bond" that ties my Grandmother and I together.

It's special to me, not to mention almost completely impossible to explain.

The only "sign" I've ever seen with my own eyes was a purple bow which mysteriously laid in front of me on a table I was sitting at. The purple bow was worn by my Yorkie pup I had that recently passed. I was camping with a bunch of friends and we sat around the table playing cards one night. We stopped the game for like 5 minutes to say hello to some friends who walked up. I turned around back to the table to begin the card game again and there sat the purple bow. I thought my friends put it there and were playing a horrific joke on me yet they promised they weren't.

To this day I cannot explain how the purple bow ended up in front of me. A part of me will always be somewhat freaked out by it I guess. Later as time went on I stopped questioning it and just tried to have peace with it all.

I know exactly what you're referring to. You can't expain it to anyone who hasn't experienced it because you end up sounding like you're insane; yet to those of us who have had this kind of experience, it's magic to hear someone else tell about having it too.

The young man I told about in the 24 hr thread used to call me "mom". He had a wacky sense of humor and charm that always got people laughing. The day after he died I fell into an exhausted sleep on my couch and was startled awake by him bouncing on the couch like he had done so many times before to me... yelling "Mommy Mommy" like an excited toddler would.
Most would call it a dream, but I know I felt him bumping my legs. I went from a dead sleep to standing in a single jump. I and my kids have felt him around us occassionally since, but the week following his death was a steady stream of visits. He and my youngest were especially close, so she gets visits from him often. Since his death when she gets her picture taken there are orbs floating near her head in them. She's convinced it's Dustin watching over her.

Man, I can't believe I'm telling about this!

The only thing I can relate to my dad is time. No matter what I'm doing, at least once a week, I'm "drawn" to look at the clock. And each time, it shows 6:17....my dad passed away at 6:17 in the evening. I've had dreams in the past where I walk into a restaurant to meet my mom for dinner and she's already seated at the table - with my dad! And I'm reminded of him each and every time I see a frog, especially if it's sitting on the back porch by the door when I walk outside - like it wants to jump in my house! He HATED those things with a passion and has passed that "hate" along to me - I can't stand them! Give me spiders, snakes, even roaches but a frog - I will hurt you!

I had an dream experience shortly after my father's passing. In my dream, I was on my lunch hour and went to the local Dairy Queen for lunch. When I got there my father was there with some of this co-workers eating lunch. I sat with Dad and was telling him all about things and just plain catching up. He then got up from the table and said he had to get back. I asked him to stay longer, but he said he couldn't, he needed to get back. When I woke up from my dream, (it was so real), I felt like I lost my Dad all over again. When I went to work, I told an older co-worker about my dream and she told me she thought it was God's way of letting us visit. I've not had a dream as vivid as that one, but feel my Dad near me a lot.

I feel my grandma around me a lot i have a sence about things and even if i have my back turned i can always tell if someone is close or trying to touch me but i feel my grandma a lot there have been a ton of things she has done to make us know she is watching over us. I can;t go into detail right now for fear of totally breaking down it's such a hard topic for me.

My mom passed away this last March. She had this chair that she always sat in.
No one else ever sat in it. A couple of days after she died I was standing next to her chair and it started rocking by itself. So I sat down and it felt like my mom had her arms around me.

I would want to see my Mom and my hubby's father. I feel my Mom's warmth around me all the time! She has been gone 15 years now.
When I met my hubby, I just knew that she sent him to me somehow some way!
Here is that story (short version!)

My Mom's name was Kevin Rae...(what my Gram was thinking naming a girl that is beyond me....) So growing up, she always teased me saying she knew I was gonna marry a man that shared her name! So when I met Ray, I think I just knew she was saying this is your future hubby! And...well we have been married almost 2 years now!

Then 2 weeks before our wedding, my hubby's father suffered a massive heart attack that left him brain dead, and we had to make the decision to take him off the ventilators 4 days later. So we had to have the funeral 1 week before our wedding day. But during the funeral service, we noticed that one of the lights hanging from the ceiling was like swinging back and forth, but as soon as we were about to leave the church, it wasn't swinging any more. Very strange.

On our wedding day, as we were sitting on the altar during all the readings, the light started swinging again...And it was swinging for the rest of the ceremony. We can even see it on our DVD of our wedding. So whenever we go to Sunday services now, we wait and hope the light starts swinging, but it NEVER does...

Then this was something I was told after the ceremony...

Our church has 2 main entrances from outside. One is the very front, which those doors are rarely used and are usually locked, and the side front doors, which is what they use all the time!
So our photographer was standing by the very front doors, and our Priest was telling everyone about the flowers on the altar we had in rememberance of his Dad and my Mom, and as he was saying this, the very front doors actually opened very slowly (mind you, there was no wind or anything, and those doors are locked and are also very heavy....) Out photographer was a bit freaked and was like...Come on in then...and all of a sudden they closed. He thought he imagined it, but my friend also saw it.....Very strange....

After the ceremony, we did pictures and all that good stuff...and my Mom's friend was the one who did all the singing. Our choir room is upstairs so I didn't get to see her at all before the ceremony. But she came down and she pulled me aside, and said she had a dream last night aboiut my mom. She said that my Mom came to her and said that she was going to be at the church and there will definately be a signs that she is there. And she thought it was the light swinging! Now she told me this before my photographer told me about the door incident! So when I was told that by my mom's friend, then I was told about the doors opening... Now I knew for sure she was there! I could just feel her warmth all around me!!!

Also, we took pics at this other place that was outddors! They came out very awesome!!!! And our Photo guy put them on a slide show to play during the reception. All were great and nothing out of the ordinary....
We get a call from him 2 weeks later saying our proofs are done and wanted us both to come. Ok...whatever made him happy. So we go in and he shows us the proofs which were the same ones he showed at the reception. There was this one prrof with all kinds of light images around it. They didn't show up on the negatives or on the computer. Only on the printed pics! So he blew one up for us, and you can actually see all the signs in the pic. Looks like2 sets of angel wings, a huge cross above us. We showed our priest and he was just in awe of this pic too. My MIL counted 9 signs, but I can only see about 5 of them.

So I do believe in signs from the spiritual world. My wedding day sure was filled with lots of them!!!!!!!!!

Sorry so long!
