Hi Kimberly! Glad to have you join us here. Yes, this is a small but mighty group! We are very positive and try hard to support each other and share our joys, sorrows, and some everyday life too. I'm RowdysMom at YT. I don't post as much over there anymore, it's just so big and I feel kinda lost. I'm 57, a nurse, I teach at a school of nursing. I have two yorkies, Rex and Rowdy and I live in Austin Texas with my husband. We have a daughter and two granddaughters here in Austin.
Welcome to 4WomenTalk!

Welcome to 4WT, Kim!! You'll find that we're a lot, lot smaller than YT and that there's several of us on here with yorkies. On here we can talk about so many other things besides just our dogs and you'll find that we're a very friendly group. I'm looking forward to learning more about you!!!
BTW-I have a little male yorkie, named Reuger! And one of my Christmas presents is that I get to get a female to go with him!!! Yay!!!

Thank you to all for the very warm welcome.
I just graduated nursing school in December. I will (hopefully) be taking my NCLEX this month and will become a Registered Nurse. I interviewed at a hospital locally and I will be getting a call on Wednesday. (But it sounds like I already have it, Wednesday just makes it official ) I have a 6 month old yorkie named Suri. She is very small but just doesn't know it. She spends most of her time playing, watchinge study and exploring the area with me. So far I really don't have any specific hobbies but I love art, crafts, exercising, puzzles, reading, playing with my pup, watching movies... I am dating a wonderful guy but things are changing as far as life and only time will tell... My family lives in California and I see them as often as I can. I look forward to getting to know everyone. Kim |

Hello, Kimberly, welcome to 4WT!!! So glad you joined us. Not sure why your post has to be reviewed. Maybe Admin does this with new members until they make sure you are for real. I think there have been some issues with Trolls or something like that.
Anyway, hope you like this forum as much as the rest of us. It's nice to be able to discuss almost anything that you want. So hope you enjoy!!!!

Hi Kim! Welcome to 4WT. It's a wonderful place. Just jump right in and become a member of our group.
I'm 61, very happily retired, have 3 grandchildren, 2 yorkies, and just moved upstate NY, about 20 minutes away from my daughter and her family. Are you a nurse? Gayle is our resident RN. Do we have two now?

I'll try again...
My name is Kim. I recently graduated from nursing school and will be taking the NCLEX this month. I am currently located in California but depending on what happens in the next week I may be moving to Hawaii. I applied for a position in the ICU locally, and should hear about that by Wednesday... If not Hawaii here I come. I am not married but have been dating a great guy for 2 years, but things are changing so not sure if that may change. (that's another story... Hehe) I only have one fur kid, Suri, my adorable little yorkie. I had to give up a lot to attend school and am finding it a bit difficult to adjust back to normal life... I just can't wait to start living my life because right now I feel like it is finally going to start. |
