So much fun!
I told you about the Womens' group I went to dinner with last Monday. One of the members lives in my condo. I had met her before, but thought she was a bit off.
She is, but she's also so sweet and caring. She and I made plans to go to a show at the Arts Guild Saturday evening. They are going to have events every Sat. from 4 - 7 through March. I love that! It's cold up here, so lots of things are planned. She called me and we went to an art show in my town at 3:00, and then to the evening event after. She was wonderful! She took me around and introduced me to a lot of people. In a small town, you see them all the time. I told her how much I appreciated her doing this, and how nice she is. She said that you have to have someone do that for you in a small town. She had her best friend, who moved up here first, do the same for her. There are so many people who just wouldn't care at all. I'm very grateful to have met all of these people. The second place we went was a show put on by the Arts Guild. It was a wonderful singer and band. She is also the manager of my condo! What a talented performer. Some of us got up and danced. I haven't danced in quite some time. It is so good for the soul. So is live music. We got back home at about 7PM, a nice early time to get home and relax. I'm going to a Board meeting of the Catskill Womens' Network next week Monday. I am so happy to have met these women. All the men there were married. Doesn't matter...I'm going to meet him this year. It's good to get out among nice people, doing interesting things.

Judy, Thats great news. So glad you can get out and meet new people and make new friends. Keep us posted about what goes on. I'm praying for mister right to come along for you.

I'm so glad that you're getting out and meeting people!!! It sounds like you had a really nice evening!!! About THE man.......you never know when someone will have a brother or a friend that they'd like to introduce you to.

Oh Judy...I'm just thrilled for you GF!!!! So nice to be meeting new people and have someone to do things with. That woman was very nice and considerate to 'pass it on.'
