We Got Some Rain!!!!

We finally got some rain yesterday, 1.15 inches. The thunderstorms knocked out power to areas of the city, but it was restored in a couple of hours. The forecast is hot, over 100 deg, and dry for the next few days. At least we know there is a chance of more rain in the future though.

I'm so thankful that you got rain! We traveled to Three Rivers last week (it's about an hour south of San Antonio) and the roadways were completely yellow and crispy, not a pretty sight.

Now, if we could just get a mild tropical depression to sit over south Texas for about 3 days, we might be set!

I was in a rare traffic jam/backup on my way home from work a couple of days ago - There was a grass fire in the ditch, on the side of the beltway, so we were stopped until it was extinguished. Crazy weather!

One of our customers (Valero) is in Three Rivers. They are one of the communities that I've been talking about. We're in bad shape, but they have been worse. I think they finally got some rain also, but not much.
