Goin' to New Mexico

Hey all, I'm flying with my mom to Albuquerque, NM, next Saturday (the 17th). She's going out to stay a week with her nieces. One lives in Albuquerque and one lives in Santa Fe. Their mom was my mom's sister. She died a couple of years ago, and they really miss her (and so does my mom), so I'm sure that prompted their wanting my mom to come out for a visit.

We decided it wasn't a good idea to put mom on the plane by herself - the last time we did that she got stranded in Dallas!

So, I'm flying to Albuquerque with her next Saturday, and then flying home on Monday (gotta stay a couple of days and eat some goooooood New Mexico Mexican food - my FAVORITE).

The next weekend my cousin (her niece) will fly back to Austin with her, spend the night with me and then fly home the next day.

That's great Gayle!! I'm glad your mom is still able to travel. I have gotten extra close to my mom's sister since my mom died. She lives in Idaho and I plan to go see her next Spring. I hope everyone has a fantastic visit

How nice for everyone!! I'm sure that you'll enjoy seeing everyone and making sure that your Mom arrives safe and sound!! Too bad that you can't stay longer.
