Do you guys watch this show? Tonight's show (technically last night, but it's on again tonight) is about them coming to Saskatoon... yep, my city! Shannon Tweed is from here and she's kind of a local celebrity

It's pretty neat to see my city on a big show like this. They come here quite often but it's never on the show!

I watch it quite often. I was sad when Gene was being a jerk about getting married and Shannon left...not sure of what she wanted to do. I'm so glad they worked it out.

Me too, I think they're really great people. Shannon was just here last week and she adopted a puppy from the SPCA, and she and Gene recorded a little message urging everyone to adopt from there.

If you watch the show from last night, Gene keeps mentioning how they sold out the arena in 27 minutes for a concert. Well, I was at that concert! Shannon and her sister came out at the back of the arena first and everyone was crowding around them, even as the lights were going out for the concert to start! We love Shannon here!

I don't make an effort to watch it, but always glad when I see that it's on. I like Gene and Shannon and the kids. He's done quite well, but I think it's time to cherish and enjoy what he's worked so hard for.

Hi Lindsay! I watched the show tonight just so I could see Saskatoon! What a beautiful city!!! It reminds me a lot of Austin, we have the same kind of river that runs right by downtown. And we have those bridges with the arches over the river. When I glanced at the TV, I thought, "That's Austin" but it wasn't, it was Saskatoon!!!

Gene Simmons sure looks like he has popped a few too many pills, snorted too much coke, or mainlined too much heroin. He looks BAD!

Shannon looks great, she is so pretty!

Hehe and I bet there was a bit more snow than in Austin!!

This show was taped last November, and we were going to go to that Blades hockey game but we ended up having to do something family-related instead. The Bessborough (known as just the Bess around here), the big castle-looking hotel where they stayed, well that's right on the bank of the river, and right beside it is a little outdoor skating rink every winter. That's where Scott asked me to be his girlfriend one night when we were skating a few years ago

Also, the house where Sharon grew up, is about a 2 minute drive from my old condo! I would drive past it every day on my way to work! I had no idea. It is so cool to see the random little parts of my little city on a big tv show.

I agree Gene does look bad. He's lived a hard life and I guess that's what a rock'n'roll lifestyle does to you! I don't know why women still throw themselves at him.

I was wondering why women - even young women - still throw themselves at him. It makes no sense. Gary, with his four major chronic illnesses, looks ten times better than him! LOL!!!
