Janet, check out that "whateverlife" link that I posted above. It will tell you basic steps on how to decorate and set up your myspace page. It's really simple.

janet, if you cannot figure it out (even though I have faith that you can easily figure it out bc you are smart and computer-savy), just hit me up and I'll be MORE than happy to help you set up a myspace page for you, no problem!

You don't have to do any HTML writing...you basically find a layout you like and they will give you the HTML and you just copy and paste it into the blanks on your page. Same with pictures...just upload pictures to a site like imageshack.us and then they will give you the HTML code and you just copy and paste it into your page. You can do a google search for "MySpace Layouts" and you will get TONS of sites that have cool layouts with HTML codes.

I haven't rec'd my comfirmation email yet, so maybe there are some things I can't do yet. I tried adding some music...should I just wait for my email from them?

I just checked myspace and I don't think it looks very good....in one box, you can even read it.

Oh, you add friends and update your site with pictures and sound and such & you post comments for each other. At least that's what my daughters do.

I must have tried it last October when this thread started. I didn't think I saved it or whatever.

Does anyone know how to get rid of that one or do I need to ask someone on myspace? I sure don't need two of them...not quite sure what I'll do with one....LOL

I'm learning, too. I found these instructions on FAQ on My Space. Once you are logged into MySpace.com, click on 'Account Settings' and then click on 'Cancel Account'. An email will be sent to the email address (the same one used as the login name) to verify Account Deletion.
