Anna Nicole Smith

I just heard the news of her death. So sad, what a waste, as she was so young. I can't help but wonder if she OD'd? But I was never a big fan, so don't know that much about her other than what I read in the grocery store line tabloids.

I was so shocked when I heard the news. I watched her show a few times...she was a little strange, not to talk ill of the deceased, but she's had a very open life in the tabloids and such. She just lost her son and has a 5 month old baby. Just too sad for someone so young. I do hope it was not because of drugs.

Yeah, I read about her son and her baby, that's just nuts. And makes the whole thing all the more sad.

Speaking of sadness and death (lovely topic, huh?) I heard on the radio this morning that a soldier in my area who was in Iraq, as a helicopter pilot, his wife just gave birth to their 4th child.....only to hear the news that his helicopter blew up and killed all 5 soldiers inside. So much tragedy, I am just heartbroken for that family, even though I don't know them. Here's the link to the story: http://www.beaufortgazette.com/state...-5672933c.html

I think the news of Anna Nicole Smith shocked everyone today, it is very sad she just lost her son, I feel so bad even though I was not a big fan of her. She was a young woman and mother to a newborn. She had lots of hardaches in her life, to bad it ended this way..

Sorry passion to hear about the soldier from your area, unfortunalety war is ugly..

So sad. I was never a big fan, but 39 is far to young to die, and I have to feel sad for the baby she left behind.

Very sad, but I can't get over the media frenzie. You'd think the President died or something. I've been home for 3 days now due to a gastrointestinal virus, so as soon as the media found out, it was on all stations, with specials this evening. I know she was a big name, but no Princess Di.
