LOL You sound like me. I told my husband one time I should roll aorund in flour and look for the wetspot! You def have to bend and twist to make sure you get all the hairs. You know what works great.... A beard trimmer! It makes it a lot easier to get all of those hairs. Michelle |

No No No, don't apologize!!! I can't help peeking anyway. I'm learning so much!! I just can't believe it.
You know you really can tell the difference in the ages. I mostly grew up being taught that I needed to take care of my body and skin...etc. only we did it by trying to eat right and stay out of the sun. But now days, there is something for every square inch of the body inside and out. Totally amazing. Really wish I had some of these choices when I was younger. Not that I'm old by any means. But also coming from a very small town, most of these things were never talked about much less done.

They have these paper panties that you put on to cover the delicate pouty parts , and they do one side at a time. You keep one leg straight... bend it at the knee... and lay it to the side so that the inside of your thigh is exposed. They put on the warm wax... put a cloth on top of the wax... pull the skin on your thigh to make it taut... and RIP!!!! All the hair sticks to the wax on the cloth. They repeat until they get all the hair... It only hurts for a second, and they have cream to put on and take the sting and redness away. It leaves you really smooth and no rashes or itching when the hair grows back. I'd love to get my legs done, but letting the hair get long enough to do it is what holds me back. |

So, when you get EVERYTHING waxed down there, do they get EVERYTHING?! All the little pesky hairs that I sometimes miss with a razor?? How long before it grows back?

He didn't say it I did! LOL RLC You are a brave woman!( Opps I meant Sherry! ) I have always said that if I did it I would have to have a few drinks as well. I am a huge woos when it comes to pain. I have friends that get tatoos and some are just as pretty as they can be. I still couldn't bring myself to do it. Michelle Last edited by Emmsmom; 09-13-2006 at 07:38 AM. |

Sometimes there are a few strays and she'll get those with tweezers. It takes a while for it to grow back. The hard part is letting it get long enough to wax again. No problem in the winter, but I live at the beach and in the summer it can be annoying... |

Started getting a brazilian almost ten years ago. My friend went to a little old lady that waxed strippers. First time I went in, I got the whole shebang and never stopped. Unfortunately, she retired and I found a new girl who actually became a friend of mine. Found out that the little old lady was slightly more painful than the new girl. Anyway, I moved to Northern California and have yet to find someone who is reasonably priced.
I got to be honest with you ladies, I love it. The feeling of being bald is nice. It does'nt stay smooth for very long, but the waxing starts to damage the follicle after you have been doing it for a long time. I have a bunch of bald spots where the hair no longer grows. This is great for a girl that has a lot of thick hair all over her body. Thank God I am blond, or I would be a sasquatch. Anyway. I don't find it all that painful. Sometimes it hurts more than others. I think it has to do with your pain threshhold and where you are in your cycle. I would recommend it to anyone. |

I'm just a LITTLE to shy to get a brazilian! My friend gets them and they take off every last hair on your cannoli AND butt! But I use a trimmer to keep the hair real short on my landing strip, (thanks for that one Sherry Lynn ) and shave the rest with a razor.
There's nothing worse than seeing a woman in a bathing suit with chia pet growing out of it! |
