If it's inside the eye, I'd get to a doctor. I had something like that when I was twelve, and every time I blinked it tore my cornea a bit. Needed to wear an eyepatch for awhile.

I'd have it checked out. It could also just be a cold in the eye (seen children with that, they swell up big and quick) which would NOT require a patch.

Either way, don't mess with your vision. find out. JMO

It could also be pink eye, which is contagious.

Oh my, I was just getting ready to say the same thing..a spider mite. Sometimes they are just so small you can hardly see them and they get in the bed. Amber you really need to get it checked out. You could also have a torn cornea. You should never wait when it comes to your vision.

I hope so too. I would never want to lose my vision or hearing.

Well, glad your back and that your headache is gone. When I worked in daycare, we did have a little one who's eyelid swelled in a matter of hours...it was the weirdest thing. I believe the Dr. said that his cold had moved into his eye? Could be what your experiencing.

Sounds incredibly uncomfortable.

Yikes. Insurance really doesn't work the way it should! Have you tried an anti-inflammatory?
