Arrow If you were to pass-away what would you want to be remembered for?

If god forbid something ever happened to you what would you want to be remembered for?

I would want to be remembered for my good personality and my williness to help others in need, especially animals... and you?

I want to be remembered for seeing value in teens that others have given up on.
I've taken in several kids who needed a home.
I learned this from my parents who did the same.
I've had parents sign over custody to me just for the asking. To me, kids are NOT a disposable commodity and whether they're yours or mine, they're welcome at my table. I don't expect a thank you, but admit I got misty-eyed when laying in CCU, 11 of "my kids" came traipsing in together to check on me. The nursing staff had asked me how many children I had because only immediate family was allowed; so I told them I had lost count but that anyone admitting to being one of mine should be let in. If nothing else, I hope they remember this about me and continue to do the same.

I really don't think anyone will remember me. I've not done anything really "special". I guess if I had to choose, it would be for being a good mom. I'm so proud of the way my son is turning out. Good question!

You answered it - just by being the wonderful mom you are to your son

Man, that's a tough question. I guess I would want to be remembered as being a mom who was ALWAYS there for her boys, no matter what, supporting them in their lives.

If nothing else, i would like my son to remember that i was AWAYS there for him, no matter what.
He has never ever walked into an empty home when he comes out of school.

Same here Mandy!!! That's why I took the bus driving job, so I could be here when he is. We could have used the extra money from a better paying position, but there's no money worth being at work and letting someone else raise him. Don't get me wrong....there is nothing wrong at all with both parents working full time jobs. We just changed our lifestyle which wasn't and still isn't easy. I only have the one son and I didn't want to miss out on anything.

I want to be remembered for being a good mother, wife, and friend. I'd like it to be said that if I gave my word, you could count on it.
