Freaked out!

Oh my goodness! I just watched the scariest movie I've ever seen in my entire life and I'm FREAKED right now... Seriously, Bren won't even go downstairs by himself to get some water (not that I'd even consider staying upstairs by myself either, but you get the point...) That's why I started browsing 4wt tonight, because I definitely needed to get my mind off of it!

So what's the scariest movie you've ever watched??

LOL.... Angie!!! I have to laugh, because i do this a lot myself, my DH is quite used to me being scared in the dark, and scary movies, so he always chats with me after a movie, or he walks downstairs with me if i need to get something, he knows i wont stay upstairs alone, i'm glued to him LOL

The scariest movies, flies - saws - blade - ghost hunters, there are many more, but cant remember them LOL

I hate scary movies. I get them in my mind and they just don't leave for a very long time. Whenever I'm alone, I start thinking of them again. I haven't watched a scary movie in years for that very reason.

I don't care for scary movies. When I was about 12 my brother and I went to the movies with a neighbor who told us that a Jerry Lewis movie was playing. It ended up that it was a horror movie. My brother was only about 6 or so and ended up on the floor and almost under his chair so I took him out and left him sitting at the snack bar and I finished the movie, which was a big mistake. The movie stayed with me for years!!! In the movie monsters would reach out from underneath things and grab people. Up until after I was married I would turn out the light to my bedroom and leap from the lightswitch to the bed and I would never, never let my arms or legs dangle off of the bed while I slept (I still don't). I tried to break myself from it and would look under the bed to show myself that nothing was there and then turn the light out. It didn't work, I still leaped into bed!!! I've finally gotten over it but it took me a long time.

They usually don't bother me Janet, but this one DEFINITELY did!

That sounds awful Diana. I never really had a bad experience with a scary movie when I was younger, so maybe that's why I'm usually okay with them now...

I'm trying to imagine you jumping into bed. lol

I also dont sleep with my legs or arms dangle out of bed, NEVER!!
While i still lived at home, my mom had to come check to see if there was nothing under my bed, when i moved out, my husband had to do it.... for a long long time. After my son was born, i knew i had to get myself together, but i'm still scared of the dark, i so wish i could get over it.

Any movies involving exorcism or posession scare the crap out of me! After watching the Exorcism of Emily Rose with my friend who came to visit, we were both too scared to be alone in a room! There were 3 extra beds in the house, and she slept in my bed with me hahaha
I have had many many many nightmares where I'm posessed. I usually wake up crying. I can't get stuff like that out of my head after I watch it!

I tried to jump from the lightswitch to the bed and, of course, you never got up in the middle of the night but if you did you tried to get your feet as far from the bed as you could when you got up! I just didn't like being close to the underneath side of the bed. My husband used to laugh at me. Of course, I had him turn the lights off as often as I could. You never knew when something is going to grab you and drag you underneath the bed!!!!! I figured that he could battle with it better than I could!!! LOL

LOL You crack me up! Bren and I were the same way going to bed last night...I made HIM turn out the light and he wasn't allowed to leave my side, not even to get a drink of water. LOL

Ladies I do not watch any scary movies never!! lol I am a chicken . The last time I saw a scary movie and the sad part was that it was true. Do you older women remember the movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Well that came out in 1972 and I was about 14 yrs.old and on a date with my first boyfriend. Let me tell you ladies, my head was on his lap all night long. I was sooooooooo scared.....So thats it I refuse to go see another...

So what's the scariest movie you've ever watched??

What was the movie?

And you, who made your friend fall out of bed 3 times after "The Ring." Payback sucks!

I had (and still have) many fears as a child from watching monster movies and horror movies. I always keep the covers under my feet so the ghost can't pull them
off. Whoever's living under the bed better not think about touching me! My screams would shatter his monster/demon eardrums. The closet monsters seem to be happy so they don't scare me. I think they try my shoes on.

I do have a very strict rule - ghosts are absolutely not allowed in my house. If they do get in, so far, they have at least not shown themselves out of respect for that rule.

I still love horror movies though, except The Ring.

The movie was Disturbia. Looking back on it, we were probably only that scared because it was late and we were sleep deprived. lol.

I guess it was payback. hehe! I'll have to tell Stephanie (the friend I scared after The Ring) how freaked out I was that night.
