Do you ever have those days...
when you want to say, "F*** IT ALL!!!" Maybe I'm just moody because it's that time of month, but I swear, some days I just want to throw in the towel. It could be work, house work, husband, kids all combined but some days I just feel so overwhelmed I could just cry...or scream!
Are women more proned to this? I wonder if men ever go through this? |

I too have days like that. Just don't want to do anything and don't want to be bothered!!! Hubby has days like that as well but not as often as I do. Of course, I have nothing to base this comment on but I do think women tend to have more "mood swings" than men where they just want to throw their hands up and forget everything!!!

Darn near everyday anymore. I'm tired, just plain tired of everything being on my shoulders. If I don't do it, it doesn't get done. I can leave a list and hubby will do it, but in his time frame. I even have to decide where we go, what we do, and I'm just plain tired of it. So just about everyday, at least once, I feel that way too!!! |

I too feel this way from time to time..I am pre-menopausal and somedays I just don't want to do a thing! And I don't!! I have my 2 little furbabies and 2 grown up daughters. My husband (of 7 yrs in Nov) just doesn't understand what us women go through...He has only been married to me...no children and is an only child (until this past July....another story for another day!) So he has only had himself to think about...He doesn't like it when I get upset and thinks it's because of something that he has done (sometimes it is! ) but, I play with my furbabies, quilt, and do what ever I want when I am in one of these moods...sometimes it's nothing!

Don't feel bad...I think it's just a "girl thang" to get all discombobulated. I just go ahead and apologize to my girls and tell them to cover their ears and same to my hubby cuz I just snap and start screaming cusswords left and right...I used to throw stuff around but then I have to clean up the mess i made so I figured swearing isn't as messy...my whole family knows when I start saying the f words to clear out quick. I used to not get pms but as i get older it's just horrible-and the cramps will put you on your knees they get so bad. when i was on birth control i didn't have them but ever since I got my tubes tied two years ago they just keep getting worse. and sometimes it's not just pms...there are just those days that nothing goes right and the house is a mess and the hubby and kids are on their asses watching t.v. and I am running around the house picking up after everybody-I don't mind picking up after the babies cuz they are still children(old enough to do chores though) but my hubby is the messiest man I have ever met. Sometimes I tell him when I agreed to marry him I didn't agree to be his house slave! Don't feel like your crazy just take a hot bubble bath. drink a glass or bottle of wine-hehe!, and read a trashy romance novel with the bathroom door locked and you'll feel better in no time

I think we all go through that sometimes. Actually today is officially "me" day. The summer is over, kids are in school and I plan on doing absolutely nothing today. I think I deserve it!

Those kinds of days are tough for sure. Rest assured you are not alone! It seems when one of those types of days head my way I find any kind of escape possible. A LARGE glass of wine, hot bath, and being alone from anything that breaths works for me.
Today's a new day for you and sure hope it's a better one. |

Girl , You are NOT alone! I have those days too and it only seems to get worse during that "time".I have been where you are and I am about to visit that same place in about a week. I usually get a nice bottle of wine and have a few glasses at night AFTER everyone is in bed. ((HUGS))
