Went Hunting Last Night!
My son had to work last night so my husband ran to town for a pizza. While there he saw a hubcap missing from my son's car, he just bought them that afternoon. He said he looked for it on the way home, but didn't see it.
Well, being the mother I am, I just couldn't stand the thought of Ricky being so disappointed that he lost a new hubcap on his first trip to town with them. So we eat the pizza and then I told hubby I was going to go look for it. Hubby came with me and we looked all the way to town...approx. 7-8 miles. We go on in to where Ricky is working because I didn't want him to see that it was missing when he got off work. I told him he was missing a hubcap expecting him to be a little disappointed, but he said he saw if fly off and stopped to look for it but needed to get to work and would look for it later. He told us approx. where it was at and by golly we found it. Yay!!! My son works hard for his money and I hated for him to think he wasted $35 on a set of hubcaps. I'll have to take a picture of them, because they look really nice.

I'm so glad you found it Janet!
Boys absolutely need to make their cars look nice, so I'm sure he was glad of it as well. Way to go!

You're right Tink. For boys his age...having a car that looks good is important...LOL. Now all he needs is the damage fixed on his car...soon....soon.

Aww Janet you are a good mom!! and your lucky you found it.. Coming from a city life it would be gone as soon as it flew off... lol thats great !
