Very nice pictures Janet..

Arn't hummers beautiful? Yet they are among the most vicious birds out there among there own kind. Fight for their spot at the feeders!

Thanks....I love sitting there watching them chase each other away from the feeders. I have to remember to fill them up again in the morning.

Shada, your flowers are beautiful. We have flowers here like that in May. They are all getting really dry by now. The Crepe Mertyl's are blooming though. Will have to post a pic of the one in our front yard. It's beautiful!!

That is a orange cone flower. Found it last year. The purple cone flower is the most common color. I have loads of them! Found the orange one last summer, also have white and yellow. Two that are supposed to be red, but look purple to me. I so want a vibrant red one.
I love the cone flowers. No deadheading and the blooms last a long time!!! They bloom all summer.

Oh and for those who didn't see it, the bumblebee is on the lone yellow cone flower in the first bunch of pictures.
