Is it Christmas yet?
The temperature has dropped like crazy in the past couple of days. It's getting pretty close to freezing overnight, so I'm going to have to start bringing my tomato plants inside, or covering them
 I had to turn the furnace back on Monday morning, because I woke up and it was 16 degrees in the house Oh yeah that's 61 degrees F. This morning when I came to work it was 4 degrees outside, and 0 is freezing! I just hate this time of year. I want to hold on to summer for just a little longer! The leaves have not started to change color yet, but that should be happening soon. Before long, they'll be bare and frosty. And then it'll be cold and snowy, and I won't ever see daylight! In the winter it's dark when I go to work and when I come home, and I don't have any windows in my part of the office building. The only thing I'm looking forward to now is Christmas, which is my favorite time of year  And NYC which is my little pre-Christmas present to myself lol. I'm excited to get into holiday mode again!

Hold on there Lindsey....LOL...not quite ready for Christmas yet. I want to enjoy fall first!!
I posted earlier in the vent thread complaining about it being in the 90's here in Indiana and so humid. Same day...you're posting how cold it is...LOLOL. Aren't we a pair???...LOL.

janet is right i just love fall, oh boy i don't even want to think about Christmas yet.. I want to spoil Micah like i did last year,, tons of toys my boy is going to get, he was so good this year, and i know Santa will agree with me.....

lol I wish I could enjoy fall but it only lasts for a couple of weeks here. In no time all the leaves are on the ground and either there's snow, or it's so cold that there SHOULD be snow. And then 6 months of winter ahead!

We're having great weather here in New Hampshire! (Although now that I've mentioned it, it's probably get all icky again). High 70's during the day and the 50's at night.

We had some rain here at home today and a little bit on the way home from Nebraska. It's what's left of Gustav! It's probably going to head your way, Janet, and cool things off a bit. Our nighttime temp for tonight is in the 60's and today it was around 70*.

it's going to be another hot one today, i did some more landscaping in my back yard last night i was hot, Micah was helping his mommy some but he liked the sprinkles better, it was so cute to watch him and my dogs with that sprinkler, my dog couldn't figure out what it was and was trying to bite the water coming out of it. i was laughing my ass off last night....

It was 45 overnight with a predicted HIGH of 62 today. Just days ago I was complaining abut the heat with Janet. lol I LOVE this kind of weather! Come on Autumn!

It started raining last night Diana and continued on and off throughout the night. Rained a little on and off today too. I think it's suppose to continue this until tomorrow morning and then we are to have somewhat of a cool down...yay!!! I love the cool fall weather.
We needed the rain so bad...thank you God!!! I drive a lot of gravel roads (who'd a thought in 2008) anyway..the dust is sooooo bad and by the time I got home, my sinuses would ache a little bit. So thankful for the rain and the soon to come cool temps.

Well it's official... we're now hitting freezing temperatures overnight
Yesterday I plucked a few tomatos off my plants on the front deck, and I think I'll be bringing them inside every night now. It was 2 degrees C (36 F) when I left for work this morning, and the frost was just starting to melt off my car
