Felt Great To Be Outside!!

This morning I got up and decided to stay home. I let the dogs out, poured my coffee and then got on the computer for a bit. After that....I read the Sunday paper and then got dressed.

Wasn't quite sure what I was going to do, so I went out with Penny and felt it was decent enough out to start raking my yard. My yard is an acre...lol.

I had to stop so many times to take a rest...my lower back was killing me. After I had been out working for quite some time, Rick decided to venture out so I put him to work. I had raked and made piles of sticks and small limbs in numerous spots around the yard. It was his job to get it all picked up, haul it to the back and burn.

Yesterday I got my garage all cleaned out from the winter crap just thrown out there..(now it's in my husband's garage where it belonged) and I even had time to go visit Lynne and her new little puppy Zach....by the way....he is so friendly and just adorable.

I'm really getting excited to clean out the flower beds this year and get some flowers planted. I hadn't done this for a couple years, so I need some flowers. We also need to get some more stone...mulch or something around the shrubs. I just feel so energized....I hope it lasts....LOLOL

That's great Janet! I can't wait until it's warm enough here to spend more time outside. I love doing work outside

This week is suppose to be warmer for us and it makes me ready to work in the yard too. I know that some of my plants are starting to bud out. I love it when everything starts blooming. I cut a lot of my bushes and plants back so hopefully they'll be bushier and prettier this year, anyway we'll see.

Janet, it sounds like you got a lot done in your yard!! I hope that your energy stays with you. It's not fun when you feel that you don't have energy to do the things you want to do!!

Thanks....I just feel so much better when I'm doing physical labor. I hurt the next day...LOL...but I love being busy and if I'm outside...that's even better.

Janet girl you did a lot and being you love it so come by my house soon and start cleaning out my garage.. lol It was cold here today I will start getting into my garage when it is warmer out. I have so much stuff to clean out...

This next week is supposed to be warming up, so I am hoping to start on my yard, and my garage... yikes. What a mess.

Good job Janet, it looks like we were both busy this weekend.. i did take a break Sunday it was nice outside, i charged Micah's little quad and we went for a walk.. i think he's too big for it, need to get him another one... but it was a nice day.... little windy.. but Micah wanted out of the house.. can't blame him.. poor kid watched me scrub walls and wash curtains for two days....

It's going to start cooling down here for a few days but then get back up to the 50's and 60's . This weather has been nothing but a big tease....LOL. I'm so anxious for warm weather, but I am thankful it's not getting hot too fast so far. Most of the time we don't even get a spring....go from cold to hot and humid.

same here Janet its 73 outside now and back in the 40's tom, i have one rose bush i'm going to cut in half tonight to get that out of the way, and Micah and i are going for a walk again..

I'm jealous of you guys! It's -20 here right now (-4 F) but it's supposed to get up to around freezing for the next week, and then start to warm up to spring temperatures! My dad is hoping the snow is all gone by Easter because he has taken time off to build a new deck at the house. There is still about 3 feet of snow at home, and at least 2 feet here still. It's supposed to snow more on the weekend.

We've had really beautiful weather the last few days!! When I take Jazzi outside I've been pulling a few weeds here and there throughout the yard. I'm so ready to start planting some flowers!!!
