I am spending the day at the pool today, and probably tomorrow. The weather is really beautiful up here; 75 to 80 during the day, sunny, and very cool at night.

Autumn is beginning up here. The trees all the way up in the mountains are turning, and at my level too. It's a good time of the year up here.

My summer friends are pretty much leaving this weekend, or have left already.
I will miss them!!!

Judy it sounds wonderful there. We have been in the low 80's during the day and 50's and 60's at night....love it! Fall is my favorite time of year.

I got to drive the car a bit today. We took it and had wire wheels installed by Discount Tire that we had bought online. They are replicas of the original '57 T-Bird wire wheels. It took two and a half hours, they had some problems with one of the inner tubes. They wouldn't drive the car. I had to pull it into the service bay for them. Rex had followed me in the truck. We were going to drop it off and go buy groceries while they worked on it, but we ended up staying around. Rex had to remove the finder shirts for them. They were being so careful with the car, and the wire wheels look so nice now that they are on. We have a few other things to do yet to get it ready to show, but it's looking so good already. It's in really nice condition, and is quite a head turner when I drive down the street. People honk and wave. One guy stopped beside me at a red light and ask if I'd trade and said it was beautiful. I really like my little blue bird, and will post pics. I'm driving it without the roof right now, and am enjoying the open air. I'd never driven a convertable before.

We were going to a Sonic this evening for a car club meetup, but would you believe, of all times, it started to sprinkle a bit, so we didn't go.

About the only thing we're going to do is go to the rental house and do some odds and ends repairs and get it ready to rent or sell. Also need to mow the lawn there and trim the bushes. They took such great care of the place while they lived there, but you can sure tell they were planning on moving.

I would like to cook on the grill sometime over the weekend, but we need to get the rental house taken care of first.
Janet I didn't know that you have a rental.. good luck with whatever you decide to do rent or sell. Maybe you should keep it if you get a good rental and don't have problem with tenants. Its a good investment and extra income coming in. Weigh your pros and cons...

Light up that bbq you need to eat and have some time for you this weekend.. It's Labor day aka day to relax.. Enjoy!

We just don't know for sure what we want to do. The tenants we had were there for 8 years. They took excellent care of the place until they decided to move. So we had a few repairs. I would love to keep it and have the extra income, but also worried as we age that we won't be able to keep up with repairs. Just not sure what to do.

We worked in the house yesterday and I was so sore today that I wasn't able to do much. I'm a workhorse and need to pace myself. I shouldn't have worked so hard and so fast yesterday.
