Drive by shooting!!

I was watching the 11:00 news...there was a drive by shooting in the town where I live...well..they actually consider it a city but it is a small city...we live on the outskirts..anyway...I think they know who the kid is but haven't caught him yet he shot 5 rounds into the car and there was a 4 year old boy in it...I was on YT so wasn't really paying to much attention but when I heard Gardner I nearly freaked out! I don't think anyone got hurt though. But, how scary!! What in Gods name is happening!!! Isn't there enough fighting, shooting and killing in this world right now!
