Actually it was a similar situation. When he asked, I just replied that i might be scared & her husband was like I have a lot of work to do this weekend. So my hubby was like well then her & I will just go. Maybe it was the fact that he didn't run it by me first. I will go, especially now that's it's at the cheap theater. Why don't you just go? If you are really afraid, doesn't matter if you kept your eyes closed most of the time rather than sitting at home thinking of what might happen etc etc. The $9 will be well spent.
