I had a really good birthday. My son's family gave me gift bag on Sunday filled with lots of goodies. Candy, Bath and Body Works perfume and lotion, and a cute little Hallmark ornament that's a 50's doll. My husband thought that he had an extra day so he didn't have any thing earlier in the day, but he came home with a heart shaped doughnut!!! and a really nice card. Then my daughter, Amy, invited us over for supper and made my favorite meal. It actually was for Kera and I both because we both had birthdays. She made fried chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy and it was really, really good! And she made peach cobbler for desert. It was a good birthday. My husband is always thrilled when I have a birthday because then it means that we're the same age again!!! He's only a month older than I am.

Diana, I can't believe this...all growing up and even now...that is my favorite meal. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravey, mac and cheese and choc. cake with choc. icing. I always had it on my birthday up until Mom started going to Florida. Now the only way I get it is to fix it myself.
