This is sad the lack of respect she has for you. Atleast you can see that it is only for 8 more weeks then you don't have to worry about her anymore.
She is lacking a lot of maturity right now, just try to avoid her and don't worry about her as much as you can. It seems she thinks the world revolves around herself. I am soooo sorry about the loss of your hometown friend.
