I Really Like Me Job!!!

Paychecks might be better than I thought!!!



OK ya'll, so this Friday I am getting my third paycheck at the new job. Unfortunately, some stuff came up and I missed about 12 hours, so I am going to be 12 hours shy on the pay, BUT on the upside I found out that we DO make commission on fundraising.

I thought since we were calling for volunteers for a charity that NO commission was paid. Well, turns out if you run an average of 4 or more accepts an hour, you make commission on ALL your accepts for that week and every week that you run a 4 or more. Right now I am the top agent in fundraising. I am sitting on a 6.06 which ALSO means I have unlimited overtime available to me!! I am sorta taking advantage of the OT. I worked an hour extra today and I plan to do that again tomorrow and I might possibly work 4 hours on Saturday, but only if it doesn't hurt my average.

The job is a numbers game. My boss showed me how to run the numbers and work the system and I am taking FULL advantage.

I usually have several accepts every hour but sometimes I only get one but yesterday I had 3 hours where I didn't get any in the one program we call and I was almost hysterical. It is a new program they just trained me in last week and the first two days we called it I was the top agent and then this morning I was the worst agent. I was livid and going nuts! my super came and talked to me and said it wasn't me that it was the file we were in. So she took me out of it and put me back in fundraising where I totally kicked ass for two hours and then back into the other program which actually went better and I managed two accepts every hour except my last hour where I got 4. Totally made me feel better. Then my last hour I called fundraising and totally kicked ass again. LOL

Yes, I am a telemarketer, or as I smarted off to my training super, "I am not a telemarketer, I am a telephone service representative" to which the office manager overheard and said, "who said that" and looked at me and said "That was good!!"
