I'm really getting away.....I think.....

I had such a good time!!! My Aunt Marva is so much fun to be with and Melissa is so much like her!! We went to garage sales and......more garage sales!!!! They were everywhere!!! We left about 9 in the morning and quit at around 5 in the evenng!! I don't know how many we went to. There were even streets that were blocked off and made one way because of the traffic!!!

There was a lot of baby clothes and I picked up a few things for Dean and a few baby toys. I found some things to go in my flea market booth and some things for Jaci. I went to one garage sale and an older man turned to a younger man and told him to bring out all the other shirts and hang them out with the others. We shopped around and he mentioned that his wife had just died in early April and it was obvious that he was getting rid of her things. I went to check out the clothes and they were almost ALL my size!!!! I bought two sacks of nice shirts!!! Some still had the tags on them and they were nice brands!!! I was so excited!! They even came down on the price since I bought so much!!!

We also went to a flea market and I found a couple of small cabinets....one is an old children's cabinet and the other is a nice miniature one that's not too old but cute!!

On Sunday morning we got up and went to a flea market that was just outside of Kansas City. We all got stuff there. It was really interesting loading it all up because Melissa drove a Jeep and they don't have a lot of room in the back!! I bought a large plastic wagon for Karlie and Dean for when they get older and a lilac bush. Marva got a nice corner cabinet and Melissa got a couple of huge hanging baskets!!!!

Melissa has her basement decorated so cute!!! It has a small bedroom and sitting area with it's own bathroom!! She has it decorated with antiques like a B & B!! It's definitely a place that I'll be going back to!!
