Wood Floors

YIPPEE! We had the carpet ripped out of our final two bedrooms and put hardwood floors down. They did it on Monday and I am sooooo glad!!!

We put wood down 7 years ago, right before Gary got sick and he and my sil did it. We loved it so much. My mom didn't want hardwood in her TV and bedroom so she put down new carpet.

Now, 7 years later, the carpet looked AWFUL! So, we put in the wood. It is just gorgeous. I almost had a heart attack though, when we went to get the wood for the bedrooms - the company that made our wood in the living room and our bedroom, had gone out of business. So, we had to try to match it as the two bedroom are off the living room.

Well we were so lucky - we found a perfect match. Oh, if you know they are different and get down on your hands and knees, you can tell they are not the same - but to the eye, standing and looking, they look identical. We were very lucky!

The old carpet was just gross - I'm so glad to have it out of our house! Of course, little Yorkie sprinkles didn't help either.
