Some of the best memories of my life were when I was a child and Daddy worked the midnight shift at the mill. When me or my sisters got scared, we ran down the hall and climbed in bed with Mama. On Sunday mornings we all climbed in bed with Mama and Daddy and wrestled until time to get ready for Sunday school.

My boys thought nothing of coming into my room and climbing in bed with me (I was a single parent for 10 years) if they got scared.

I don't see anything wrong with it. My boys knew themselves when they were too old to climb in bed with me. But it sure was nice when they were still young enough to.
