Puppy worries are over!

I was so worried about my pup Moses not seeming to want to eat for the first couple weeks I had him. I think he was simply depressed at having left his siblings and was having trouble adjusting to everything new.

He will have been with us for 3 weeks tomorrow and he's now eating VERY well!
He's noticably taller, and heavier and is full of energy and silliness, so I now feel we're past that crisis.

He's learned what toys are, and has several that he really enjoys. He's learned to come when called, knows the meaning of the word NO, will sit on command, and is doing much better on his housetraining. He seems to have trouble knowing how to ask to go out, but if we take him out every couple hours he will always "go". If I close my bedroom door at night, he will lay next to the bed and doesn't "go" in there at all, so waits till morning. He LOVES a weekly bath, and is learning to retrieve a ball, so is having fun playing with us.

I had bought a medium sized crate for him, but when I saw how nicely it fit him at this age, I took it back and exchanged it for an "EXTRA-large". It's intended for dogs up to 28" tall, so he should fit in it even full grown.

Luckily hubby and the kids are falling for him as much as I have, so Moses is now part of the family. I'm glad I got him when I did, 'cause he's my birthday gift to myself, and has settled in and won everyone over so he's a welcome addition by the "day". LOL
