That is hilarious that the plumber took the time holding copper piping while explaining to you the affects it has on them with too much pressure. I can visualize you standing there listening to him saying 'uh huh, uh huh, uh huh."
The things us woman have to deal with at times w/ repair men. Do they not realize that most us woman don't care about affects of pressure and that all we want is the problem fixed? Goofy man! Glad you are moving forward with the repairs!
