My husband and I rarely ever run out of things to talk about.....we're chatter boxes - both of us! That's one thing that really attracted us to one another when we first met. We realized that we had such good conversation, and we both talked a lot, but neither of us droned on, were boring, etc.

One thing my young-marrieds small group has been challenging each other to do is what we call the "Three Things" questions. Each day, either at dinner or after work or before bed, ask your spouse "tell me three things that happened today and how you felt about them" and both of you get a chance to answer, even if your answers are big or small. Often, you will find more than three things once you get on a roll!

("Three Things" as suggested in "Toward a Growing Marriage" by Dr. Gary Chapman who also authored the Five Love Languages)
