New here from PA!

Hi everyone,

I kind of stumbled on this forum because YorkieTalk is down, so I thought I'd come here and check it out! You can always use more girl friends right?!?!

A little about me: My name is Meredith, I'm going to be a senior in college and my major is Animal Sciences. I've loved animals (dogs are my passion) since I was little. I'm currently raising and training a Seeing Eye puppy named Robert. He's a golden retriever/lab cross and is an amazing dog. I'm going to be so sad when I have to give him back this summer!! On a brighter note, I'm getting a Mastiff puppy in May, and I'm hoping to add a yorkie to my home in the next year or so. I've had dogs (including a yorkie) throughout my life and I cannot live without a dog (or two!) in my house!

I have a wonderful boyfriend named Arne (pronounced like ARM but with an N lol) and we've been together for 4.5 years. Both each other's first and last, and within a year or so we are planning on getting engaged and married. Even thought I'd been with him since the summer after my freshman year in high school, I know he's the perfect guy for me. I love him with all my heart, and I could never let someone so perfect slip away just because I wanted to "test the waters" if you know what I mean! We've been through a lot together and he's the only man I ever want to be with for the rest of my life!

My hobbies include scrapbooking (scrapbooks of me and my boyfriend, me and my best girl friend Kara and my dogs), baking, attempting to broaden my cooking skills without burning down my condo (lol), reading, internet-ing...Those are my pretty normal ones...the not-so-normal ones include being obsessed with dogs and canine nutrition! I could sit in a pet store for hours looking at the ingredients in all the dog foods. Pathetic... lol!
