Angie just called and they have Maddie in the car and are one the way back to the hotel with her. She is a little nervous because they just left her family and she also has stitches from being spayed but she is getting along with them well. They are very happy but are sad for her family. They were all crying when they left. I feel sorry for them. I can't imagine us having to give up our Chipper.

Such a bitter sweet day for everyone. I betcha Maddie will adjust perfectly. How can she not with such a sweet new Mama and Daddy!!

I wish them all a safe drive home!
