Trading vehicles
I have someone wanting to buy my car, and my cutie pattooty mechanic has stepped in to help me out again.
He has an Oldsmobile Bravada, a mid-sized SUV that's All wheel drive, that he's recently put a new engine, transmission, new paint, and lots of other parts into that he's willing to sell me for the same price I've been offered for my car. Since Greg's home so seldom, If it snows I'm pretty much stranded here as I can't shovel snow with my heart problems. So a vehicle like the Bravada would be a real blessing if I truly need to get to town. It's also a 4 door which I prefer, and has a big enough cargo area to put a big dog crate in the back when I need to haul one of the dogs to the vet or where ever. It won't get the gas mileage that my car does, but I don't go far, so for me that's not a major issue. Greg was content to keep my car, but once he learned all that Trevor has done to the Bravada he agreed to let me trade. He did cringe when I told him that a bigger vehicle would be nice for when I spend a day going to garage sales. LOL Comically, the Bravada is a 1992, which is pretty old, but since everything has been replaced and updated on it, very little of it is original anyway. It's completely rust and dent free, and will likely last as long if not longer than my much newer car that has MEGA miles on it. Now if I get the job I'm interviewing for at least I know I'll be able to get out of the driveway to get there!
