your Hubby sounds like mine, my baseboards are still in the garage, its been 3 years there probably all dry rotted
 He's always doing side jobs for everyone else, but his own house... we'll hate to tell him i already set up Sunday with his friend to put my front door in..  anyways your floor looks great, nice job they did !!!
