Wonderful Weekend!!!

Just wanted to share some about the wonderful weekend we had. The Parade of Homes show (open house of a new home hubby built) started this weekend, but he had extra help lined up for Saturday. Melissa came down Friday evening. She was getting over a cold and was still feeling a little under the weather. She and I spent Saturday together as was mentioned in another thread. I cleaned and she worked on a dress she is making. Karen came down Saturday afternoon and helped her dad with the Parade. Afterward we all went out to eat, and Melissa went back to her home. Karen stayed and after church Sunday she and I helped hubby with his open house. We left mid-afternoon and headed for San Antonio. We met up with Melissa and her fiance for dinner and then went to a San Antonio Spurs basketball game. We had all bought Spurs jerseys for the occasion (expect Melissa's fiance who wore a firefighter shirt as usual). We had a wonderful time. The Spurs won 100 to 80!!! Yea!!!!! Go Spurs Go!!!! My shirt is #9 Parker, Eva Longoria's hubby. I picked his because he's a great player and because of Desperate Housewives.

I spent the night at Karen's and this morning traveled to Melissa's. We spent the day in Austin, had lunch together, shopped and had her wedding dress fitted for alterations. All in all, it was the best Mother's Day weekend ever!!!!!

Now tomorrow, back to reality and back to work.....uh!!
