I'm so sorry for your loss Diana.
When I read this my first thought was "How lucky for your FIL to have passed this simply and easily." I know it's hard for the people left behind, but my own father passed in a very similar fashion... no pain, fear, or drama... what a blessing for them. Your family will be in my prayers. HUGS
