What a bad day!

My birds escaped from their cage yesterday while I was cleaning it. I couldn't catch them so I left them out last night. I woke up at around 7:00 today to try to catch them. Not gonna happen. I spoke to my daughter who suggested a butterfly net.

Then, I saw that I got a parking ticket. We have alternate side of the street parking.

I was going to go to the beach, but it was getting late and I knew I wouldn't really relax. I was worried about the birds. Skye flew into the wall and I didn't know if they had gone into the cage for food and water.

I have had a problem with my bedroom doorknob, and ended up getting stuck
inside my bedroom for at least an hour. I went through everything in the room, including my jewelry box to find some kind of tool so that I could turn the doorknob. Finally I did what any normal person would do. I took a shoe and began to bang it on the knob. (frustration) Then I took the door and started pulling and pushing it. Don't you know that it popped open. Sometimes you have to show these quiet inanimate objects just who is the boss! They can do bad things to you!

Then I took the dogs and went to ToysRUs for a butterfly net, and toys for the grandchildren. Kassidy will be 6 on Thursday. The manager came running over while I was paying and in a shocked voice told me I had to take the dogs out of the cart. "Babies sit there," she said. I must have looked at her like "what the...?" because she told me it's not that she doesn't love animals, blah, blah, blah. Turns out dogs aren't allowed in TRU. Who knew?

I came right home. I did catch the birds in about 10 minutes using the net, and am not doing anything else today! I'm afraid to.
