Is it Christmas yet?

The temperature has dropped like crazy in the past couple of days. It's getting pretty close to freezing overnight, so I'm going to have to start bringing my tomato plants inside, or covering them I had to turn the furnace back on Monday morning, because I woke up and it was 16 degrees in the house Oh yeah that's 61 degrees F. This morning when I came to work it was 4 degrees outside, and 0 is freezing!
I just hate this time of year. I want to hold on to summer for just a little longer! The leaves have not started to change color yet, but that should be happening soon. Before long, they'll be bare and frosty. And then it'll be cold and snowy, and I won't ever see daylight! In the winter it's dark when I go to work and when I come home, and I don't have any windows in my part of the office building.
The only thing I'm looking forward to now is Christmas, which is my favorite time of year And NYC which is my little pre-Christmas present to myself lol. I'm excited to get into holiday mode again!
