Grandkid Bragging Rights

My two oldest g-daughters are soooooooo smart!

Christian, who will be 12 in February, is in the 6th grade taking 7th Math.

Delaney, who will be 10 next week, is in the 4th grade. My daughter was called in for a school meeting yesterday and told that they want to move Delaney to the 5th grade. They offered options:

1) take year-end tests now and move to 5th grade now
2) stay in 4th grade, taking 5th grade classes, skip 5th grade next year
3) stay in 4th grade, taking G&T classes, take year-end tests, skip 5th grade

I think we're leaning towards #3. They are creating a "peer mentoring" program because her teachers have seen that several of the other students go to Delaney for help and have lovingly nicknamed her "Smarty Pants".

Both girls moved to public school this school year, after having been in private school. They are very active in church, dance/cheer, softball, and now 4H.

Delaney's on the left and Christian on the right in the picture:
