I'm on Facebook. Jessie signed on and learned that my cousin's son was looking for me. I don't remember how she found out about it. I have to ask her.

This is a weird story, with a very happy ending.

There was a reunion of my high school class this year. They had a big poster listing those who had passed away. My name was on it! It still makes me really queasy! One of my old friends, who is also friends with my cousin, was there.

My cousin and I were best friends until about 14 years ago. Things were not good for either of us, and she just stopped talking to me. I was totally wrong in my behavior. I don't remember if she was. I don't think so. I was also very close to her brother. I was going to marry him when I was a little girl. We tried to reconcile a few years ago, but the timing was bad. Jess wasn't talking to me, etc. and I was too depressed to get involved in such a close relationship. He was never mad at me. We just stopped getting in touch.

Anyway, my cousin posted a message on her son's facebook wall looking for me and giving her phone number. Jessie found out about it and to make a long story very short, we are all in touch again and it is just wonderful.

My cousin and I speak to each other about every 3 to 4 days, and my other cousin and I write to each other on facebook and talk every couple of weeks.

I am overjoyed! I love them both so much, and it is so good to have them back in my life. I have tears of joy running down my face!

Oh - our friend got in touch with the woman who set up the reunion and she emailed everyone who was there that I was very much alive!

Facebook can be a lot of fun. I've found quite a few people I grew up with, joined some groups, and enjoy it.

Kids do not belong on there posting what they think of as cool. If they stay above that, then it is fun. If not, it's dangerous and can ruin their chances for college, jobs, etc. I am very careful about what I post. It can catch up with you!
