Third time's a charm :)

I am happy to say I had a great weekend with Scott's family! I took Layla and she was a hit... even though she pooped once inside by the back door, peed once in a bedroom, and pooped and peed on the deck while we were swimming But the rest of the time she was great and peed on her pad, or waited to go outside to do both!
On Saturday we spent the day with Scott's sister and her husband. Scott was helping to build a fence. They have two dogs... a smaller shih tzu mix (still about twice Layla's size) and a larger siberian husky mix. Layla didn't want to play, but they were really nice dogs! I some good talks with his sister about dogs because she's a big dog lover too. Scott's parents got there when they were done work and we had some burgers to eat and then went home. There, we looked at our Vegas pictures, played some cards, and then Scott and I watched a movie.
Yesterday morning it wasn't so nice outside so we just played some Wii and watched another movie (both parents were working again). But by mid-afternoon the sun came out so we decided to go swimming! We got Layla buckled up in her new little life jacket and took her for some laps She did really well, but I think she was a little bit scared. Nonetheless, I did get some really cute pictures of her that I will try to upload later!
When we were leaving this time, I thanked his mom for having me and she said "you're welcome" and said they should come visit when I get into my condo. As we were walking out the door, his dad said "We'll see you again soon!" and his mom added "And bring the puppy!"
So it was definitely a much better experience!
