Wow...you have some water don't you???? I thought Texas was having a bad drought...is that over now? Sure looks like it could be. I hope it doesn't make it into your home.

JUDY!!! You crack me up!!!

Actually, we are in great danger of the water getting in our house. It's already in our next door neighbors house. We have had almost 4 inches today, and that was on an already soaked ground. We also have been under tornado WARNINGS off and on all afternoon

They are predicting at least another 5 inches. The water is already twice as high as when I took those pictures. There have been tornadoes touching down everywhere, and half of Carthage is without power...but thankfully it's not our half!

Wow is right , do you have a basement and if so do you have a sump pump? I hope that it doesn't come into your home.. Keep us posted.

Btw I love your front door very pretty and the scarecrow looks great.

Thanks Gina! We don't have a basement. In fact most people in this part of the country DON'T have basements. I'm not too worried about the weather. The threat of tornadoes is passing, so now we just have to worry about flooding. There is really nothing to do about the water...if it comes in it will just come in

These are the kind of storms we have when the warm gulf air meets a cold front. It just happened to meet right over East Texas!!
